Well designed and made and is very effective but has an irritating design flaw. The maker is aware of this and packs a notice saying don’t open the flap more than 90 degrees. Kneeling on the floor and with your head cranked over to be able to see where to stick the awl in to make pilot holes for the screws it is difficult not to do this. The end result is that the paint finish rubs against the door gets damaged. Surely they could apply some low tack tape to protect the area until installation is complete. They would then have five stars.

This is a very nice flap. It's very easy to fit, and sits snugly inside my front door and goes well with the white painted wood. The magnet holds the flap shut and is light enough that letters get all the way through the outside flap and this one with no problem.

Great paint finish, magnetic closure ensures airtight close.

Perfect product I invented in my mind already existed.. Thoughtful, quality design. Looks great in my century home, as it would equally in a modern build. Function, quality, finish.
