Good but a minor flaw in mk1

Had the mk1 version and whilst it worked great at keeping the downstairs smoker’s smell out of our flat, we did have one issue in that the magnet was too strong and caused the postman to quite forcefully shove his letters through the letterbox to overcome the magnet strength. This eventually resulted in the hinge at the top snapping, the mag flap fell to the floor and the magnets broke off.

I personally feel the magnets are way too strong and only needs something just enough to hold it closed rather than it being so firmly held shut. I’m about to try out the mk3, so hopefully either that has been addressed or the hinge is stronger to deal with the poor frustrated forceful postie!
